How Are You Managing Your Anxiety During COVID-19?

BY MIKE SARAFOLEAN

05/05/2020

In pre-COVID days I was at the gym or the yoga studio six days a week. They are now closed. I have had to find other ways to achieve the stress relief that comes from physical activity. So I’ve substituted a daily three-mile power walk. Not the same, but effective. The best part of this new routine is that I am able to plan my route to pass by STM every day where I enjoy a rest at the Mothers’ Peace Garden (at our Oxford corner) and take a moment and stop and say a prayer for “peace and other miracles”. Like an end to this pandemic and protection for the health care workers who put their lives on the line for the rest of us each and every day.

No need to walk three miles first, but I encourage you to stop by the garden and say a quick prayer for peace and whatever other miracles you may be praying for today.
