Young Adult Ministry

We provide a space for young adults (generally 18-40ish) to gather for fellowship and talk about their faith.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Coffee & Fellowship

EVERY SUNDAY, AFTER 10:30 AM MASS

Join us for coffee and fellowship after the 10:30 am Sunday Mass every week! We’ve had great feedback and plan to continue this on a weekly basis. Hope to see many of you there moving forward! We meet in the back of church near the St. Patrick statue.

Happy Hour

SEPTEMBER 24, 5:30 PM, THE GNOME

From the creators of the original hit series "Coffee after 10:30 am Mass" comes a new, never-been-done-before event: Happy Hour after 4:30 pm Mass! OK, maybe it's not the most original idea, but it's going to be a great time. After Mass, we'll head over to The Gnome (498 Selby Ave., St. Paul) for beverages and fellowship. Please RSVP to youngadults@morecommunity.org so we know how many people to expect!

Theology on Tap: Ignatian Spirituality & Mental Health

SEPTEMBER 29, 7 PM, BAD WEATHER BREWING

Join us at Bad Weather Brewing in Saint Paul for a theology on tap presented by Fr. RJ! He will discuss the intersection of Ignatian Spirituality and modern mental health practices, or as he says, "How Ignatius beat modern science by almost 500 years." After the talk, we will have a time of Q&A.

Gardening Service Project

OCTOBER 1, 10:30 AM, STM PARISH CENTER

STM young adults will be meeting at the parish to assist with gardening, weeding, and other landscaping-oriented tasks on the parish campus. BYOGG (bring your own gardening gloves - duh) if you have access to some. Please RSVP to youngadults@morecommunity.org so we can reserve enough weeds for you to pull. Kidding, kind of.

Pumpkin Carving Night

OCTOBER 15, 5:30 PM, PARISH CENTER

Can you smell it? Yes, it's the unmistakable aroma of pumpkin spice lattes drifting through the air. Which means ... it's nearly time for our annual pumpkin carving event! Join us after the 4:30 pm Mass (exact location TBD) to create jack-o-lanterns. Food will be provided. Bring your own beverage. Artistic ability not required.
