Update 12/18/25: We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Annual Toy Giveaway a success, it was a day full of warmth and joy amidst the cold winter chill. This event wouldn't happen without Sara and Claire Buethe, who start working on this months in advance - we are forever grateful for them! Read some stats from the year below.
💙103 patrons attended the Toy Giveaway to shop for their loved ones
💛65 volunteers set up, ran, and cleaned up after the event (including STM parents, church parishioners, STM teachers and their loved ones, STM students and alumni, Scouts, confirmation students, and friends of the community)
💙Over 1,200 donations from the generosity of our school and parish community, plus some friends of STM!
💛Countless smiles, many Christmas carols sung by Mr. Jeff, and lots of warm drinks and delicious treats prepared by the Scouts and enjoyed by our wonderful patrons
The Saint Thomas More Catholic Community is now collecting toys for kids of all ages to be distributed at our Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway on December 13! For many parents, Christmas brings more stress than joy. This wonderful event helps low-income families in our local community provide Christmas gifts for their children. Lets help spread joy and ease the burdens of our neighbors this Christmas.
Our Toy Giveaway will take place in the Auditorium, admission numbers will be distributed beginning at 9:30 am and doors will open at 11 am! The giveaway works on a first come, first serve basis.
Donations bins will be located in both our church and school. A change from last year: Toys should be NEW. We are in need of toys for ages 0-16. We will also gladly accept Christmas decorations! Thank you for your generosity. Update as of December 8: We are gratefully accepting new toys as well as gently used toys in excellent condition, along with books, stuffed animals, and other gifts for children and teens. Gifts need not be wrapped!
We will also need several volunteers to help set up on December 12 and staff the Toy Giveaway on December 13. Sign up below to volunteer!
