Sample Poem:

GOD'S GIFT OF MORNING   |   May 1996
When I step outside, Your cool breath whispers across my cheek.
In the East Your yet unseen sunshine has begun to dissolve the night.
In that soft morning light my whole soul stirs,
With the swellings of blessings anticipated
Behind the silhouettes of shadowed horizon clouds
Lay the moments of Your simple affection -
The red orange ball of light which brings sparkling to new leaves
And diamonds to the night's dew.
In a remarkably common moment of faithfulness, Lord,
You give me today.
