STM Free Store Needs Volunteers

We are currently seeking volunteers to help on Saturdays to get our Free Store in order. Starting February 20, we plan to begin accepting guests by appointment on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 1-3 pm. Appointments will be set up to allow one household at a time in 15 minute increments.

In order to catch up, we will be working every Saturday from 10 am - 12 pm to process donations, organize the store, and pack bags to deliver to our partner agencies. (No guests will be shopping during these hours.) Starting in April, we will resume our schedule of processing donations on only the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month.

Strict COVID-19 safety protocols will be implemented. Guests and volunteers must wear masks at all times and maintain at least 6 feet from others not in their households. Anyone who is sick or has been exposed to COVID is not allowed in the store. Hand sanitizer is readily available for use. Volunteers should limit the time they work to their comfort level during the posted time slots.

The Free Store remains dedicated to serving Christ by helping our neighbors while keeping our volunteers and guests safe during these challenging times. Thank you for generously giving your time and talent to support our mission.
