Through the lens of Saint Pope Paul VI’s encyclical Humanae Vitae and the Creighton Model FertilityCare System of charting a woman’s cycle, we will explore the theology behind this practical tool for living into God’s vision for our sexuality.
Broadly, you’ll come away with a better understanding of this natural method of family planning and its applications for cycle health and fertility, as well as deeper insight into the Church’s teaching on virtuous, life-giving relationships. Brooke is a STM parishioner and a family physician in training. A Minnesota transplant from California, by way of South Bend (go Irish) and Omaha (go Bluejays). Brooke received a BA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and is in the process of becoming a Medical Consultant for the Creighton Model FertilityCare System, a method of natural family planning.
