Ex Factors: An Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality

JANUARY 17 & 31, 7 PM, VIRTUAL

Chris Manahan, SJ, coined the term “Ex Factors” to characterize three important practices of Ignatian Spirituality: Spiritual Exercises, Examen, and Experience that form the basis for Ignatian contemplation. Key elements of Ignatian Spirituality include consolation and desolation, discernment, finding God in all things, and contemplative in action. During these virtual presentations, participants will be given the opportunity to experience some of these key practices.

Ignatian Spirituality has been practiced for over 500 years and is a key component of retreats at Jesuit retreat houses, is emphasized in Jesuit schools and universities, and featured in numerous publications authored by Jesuits.

Join us for this virtual opportunity to learn about and practice the
basics of Ignatian Spirituality! Please register below to attend. The Zoom link will be emailed to participants by end of day January 13.
