Join Eric Clayton for an engaging talk that blends the wisdom of Ignatian spirituality with the timeless themes of Star Wars. Drawing on Ignatius of Loyola’s experience in the cave of Manresa, we’ll explore the powerful idea of remembering our belovedness before God, even when we feel beaten and battered by life's challenges. We will connect this theme with Star Wars, focusing on the iconic scene of Luke Skywalker’s cave experience on Dagobah and how it mirrors our own journey of self-acceptance, healing, and restoration. We'll also dive into the profound lessons found in Obi-Wan Kenobi (the series) and how its characters embody the power of reconnecting with our true worth.Through this unique fusion of spirituality and pop culture, we’ll explore how to stay grounded in God's love and find hope, even in our darkest moments.
