Seeking Applications: Maintenance Team Member (Evenings and/or Weekends)
DESCRIPTION:
The Community of Saint Thomas More is seeking 1-2 skilled custodial and
maintenance team members to assist with the maintenance and custodial
needs of the parish facilities. This includes regular cleaning, routine
maintenance, and grounds management. Assigned areas may include all
campus buildings (Church, School, Parish Offices, etc.).
Schedule and hours are flexible. Highly competitive pay, dependent upon experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to follow supervisor’s instructions, and to work independently on routine and regular assignments
Lift and move up to 50 pounds
Possess good people and listening skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Assist with grounds maintenance
Comfortable operating power equipment such as a lawn mower, snow blower, and floor care equipment
Strong work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers
Prior custodial experience preferred
Successfully complete standard Archdiocese background checks and safe environment training
Successfully complete pre-employment physical as required by employer
