Book Club: The Screwtape Letters

NOVEMBER 12, 6 PM, IGNATIUS HALL

We are reading the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, with discussion led by Fr. R.J.! If you are unable to purchase a copy and cannot get it through a local library, please reach out to any leadership team member and we can supply you with a book. C.S. Lewis dedicated this fictional story to J.R.R. Tolkien, using it as an avenue to address various Christian theological topics.

Winter Care Package Assembly

NOVEMBER 16, 11:30 PM, IGNATIUS HALL

Join us in Ignatius Hall after 10:30 Mass to assemble winter care packs out of the donations we receive from the STM community! These care packs are to be taken home and then passed out or donated to those who are struggling with finding housing as the weather gets colder.  
Please visit this spreadsheet to find out more information and donate. Drop off your items in the care pack collection bin at church before then. Thank you for the help!

Coffee and Fellowship

 

EVERY SUNDAY, AFTER 10:30 AM MASS, STM CHURCH 

Join us for coffee and fellowship after the 10:30 am Sunday Mass every week! We’ve had great feedback and plan to continue this on a weekly basis. We meet in the back of church near the St. Patrick statue. Hope to see many of you there moving forward!

Donuts After Mass

FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, AFTER 10:30 AM MASS, IGNATIUS HALL

The first Sunday of each month, the Young Adults serve donuts and coffee following the 10:30 am Mass! If you would like to help, please email Leo at leocmolitor@gmail.com for more information. 

Coffee at Cafe Latte

SECOND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH, AFTER 10:30 AM MASS, CAFE LATTE

The second weekend of each month, please join the young adults at Cafe Latte following the 10:30 am Mass for fellowship. We meet in the gathering space after Mass before heading over. Hope to see you there!

Volunteer at Dorothy Day

THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH, 4:15-5:45 PM, DOROTHY DAY PLACE

Join us in serving meals to those in our community who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness at the Dorothy Day Center. Please register here and sign up for the 4:15–5:45 pm meal serving shift. There is also a meal prep shift from 2–4 pm, but they always need more people at the serving shift.
