Peaceful Presence with STM Anti-Racism Task Force

Update: With the Verdict in on the trial for Justice for George Floyd, our Peaceful Presence commitment is drawing to a close. Thursday, April 22 will be the final day of our Peaceful Presence. Although this trial has ended, we acknowledge that much remains to be done in the name of racial justice. But for now, thank you to all who came in person or prayed at home for peace in our cities.

Please join us for our Prayer Service for Daunte Wright on April 22 at 5 pm.

Our Anti-Racism Task Force will be holding a "Peaceful Presence" at our church in an attempt to limit violence while we await Justice for George Floyd. We hope to promote healing in our Twin Cities community while we wait for the results of the trial. Our silent vigil for peace will continue until the completion of the trial. We will have someone in the church from 3-5 pm each weekday.

Additionally—our neighbors, Saint Peter Claver Parish—have expanded their Peaceful Presence to Monday-Friday from 6-8 pm while the jury is in deliberation.

Please come and join us! Enter the church through the ramp door (east side of church) and sign in on the list by the door (for COVID tracing). Please wear a mask, and be with us for the purpose of silent prayer. If you aren't able or don't yet feel comfortable coming to the church, please say a prayer for peace at home during these hours.
