An Update on our Worship Associates, from Kellen O'Grady

Hello, St. Thomas More Community!

With deep gratitude and thanksgiving for her many years of faithful service, I share with you that Arline Datu has decided to retire from her role as Worship Associate. This part-time position has played an essential role in supporting the growing needs of our worshipping community, the dedicated service of our volunteers, and the many facets of our parish liturgical life.

Arline’s love for the liturgy and her generous spirit have been a true blessing to us. Week after week, she has helped ensure the smooth flow of our liturgical celebrations and the beauty of our shared worship. We are profoundly grateful for her steadfast presence and the joy she brought to her ministry.

Happily, Arline will continue to be part of our community as a volunteer and an active parishioner—now with a bit more time to rest and enjoy this next chapter. Please join me in offering heartfelt thanks for her years of devoted service.

I am also delighted to share that Arline has been working closely with her successor, Alex Carroll, to ensure a seamless transition. Alex is no stranger to STM—raised in the parish, she served as an acolyte through high school and returned to sacristan ministry after college. Many of you have already seen her at work or received an email from her.

life.
