A note from our Visiting Priest, Fr. Minh Le, SJ
JUNE 12, 2024
Fr. Minh Le, SJ (third from left) at his ordination to the priesthood on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Church of the Gesu in Milwaukee.
Hello, St. Thomas More Community!
I was born in Vietnam and grew up in St. Paul, MN. My family are immigrants from the war. Due to the imprisonment of my father, who was a soldier of the war, the U.S. government gave us the opportunity to start anew. We settled in St. Paul, MN, where I learned to love the cold, tennis, and the Minnesota State Fair.
I attended the University of St. Thomas, MN, for college. Drawn to the Society of Jesus’s missionary zeal and Ignatian spirituality, I entered the Jesuits after college. Our life and formation as Jesuits takes us many places. I am delighted to return to St. Paul and serve as a newly ordained priest for the St. Thomas More community. Thank you for welcoming me back home!
Sincerely,
Fr. Minh Le, SJ
