An Update on our Mass Livestream

FEBRUARY 12, 2026

Dear Saint Thomas More Parishioners,

As a staff, we have a few updates we wanted to share regarding our Mass livestream.

After looking through our analytics and overall engagements, we have made the decision to end daily Mass live streaming. This was a priceless ministry born out of COVID, when gatherings were limited and doors were closed. For the past 6 years our incredible volunteers have carried the torch and kept this ministry alive and we couldn't be more grateful, but it's time to close this chapter and move onto the next one. Our daily live streaming will end when Lent begins, with our last morning livestream being February 18, Ash Wednesday.

We have also decided to switch from live streaming our Saturday 4:30 pm Mass to our Sunday 10:30 am Mass. The 10:30 am Mass is our most attended Mass and has the widest variety of liturgies to share (Baptisms, OCIA, Children's Liturgy of The Word, and more) which would create more unique opportunities for streaming. As people continue to search for new faith homes by searching online and watching various church livestreams, we think this change will help us stand out amidst the crowd. This change will also happen when Lent begins, with our first Sunday morning livestream being February 22.

We are looking forward to seeing how this change engages our community and encourages others to volunteer as well. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. We'll be following up with an ask for volunteers and an opportunity to train/shadow, so keep an eye on your inbox.

Thank you to all our amazing volunteers who have participated in this Mass ministry, for several years or for a few months; we couldn't have done it without you!

Peace,

Saint Thomas More Staff
