Introducing: Ignatian Spirituality Center at Saint Thomas More

Dear Saint Thomas More Catholic Community,

We are writing with some exciting news!  For many years and from myriad sources, we have heard how incorporating Ignatian spirituality has been fundamental to growing the faith of our parish.  As a way to expand and deepen the opportunities to experience Ignatian spirituality in the Twin Cities, we are happy to introduce the Ignatian Spirituality Center here at Saint Thomas More Catholic Community.  The center will be housed at STM but operate as an independent, non-profit corporation with its own Board of Directors, an experienced council of advisors, and separate funding sources.

Saint Thomas More, through the Ignatian Spirituality Center, will continue to offer seasonal Ignatian retreats, various opportunities to make the Spiritual Exercises, and other Ignatian programming for our parishioners.  The Center hopes to expand those opportunities and bring them to other faith communities and spiritual seekers here in the Twin Cities and beyond.

We are intentionally moving slowly as we explore the best ways to bring the wisdom and beauty of Ignatian spirituality to a wider, more diverse group of pilgrims traveling our shared journey.  We ask you to hold this new venture in prayer and we promise to update you as we have news.  In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, please reach out to either of us or other members of the ISC Board—Carol Arend, Susan Stabile, Steve Thomas, or Michael Sarafolean.
