Book Discussion: He Leadeth Me by Walter Ciszek

SEPTEMBER 9, 7 PM, VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING

Walter Ciszek was one of the early volunteers to respond to the call of Pope Piux XI to go into Russia to address the virtual annihilation of the Russian Orthodox Church by the Communist Regime. Captuerd by the Russian army during World War II, Ciszek spent 23 years in Soviet prisons and labor camps in Siberia.

How did he not only survive, but continue to find ways to accompany other prisoners during that period? He Leadeth Me gives a profound and inspirational account of how his faith sustained him during those difficult years.

We have several copies of He Leadeth Me at the parish office available for pickup (suggested donation $11). Please email Carol Arend or call the parish office if you would like to pick up a book.

After registering for the virtual discussion, we will email you a link to join the Zoom meeting as well as a handout with questions to consider prior to the meeting.
