Young Adults Group

STM Young Adults

The group usually meets every other Wednesday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the Parish Library. The format is a potluck style social with some kind of "study" afterwards. Our aim is to provide a space for young adults (that's self determined if the individual feels like they fit that descriptor; though as a general rule of thumb 18-40) to gather for fellowship and talk about their faith in the context of the current study that we are tackling. Other social activities are also offered throughout the year. If you're interested or have questions email: or call Broian Hefer in the parish office: 651-227-7669 x 311.

Faith Study Series:

For our next study, we will be studying the apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis, “Rejoice and Be Glad,” or Gaudete et Exsultate. There are four chapters and we will go through one each week, accompanied by food and fellowship. We hope to provide you with some discussion questions to reflect on prior to our Wednesday gathering, so look for those coming to your email. Sign up here if you'd like to contribute to the potluck.  A copy of the exhortation can be bought online or you may access an online version. Following our Feb. 20th meeting, we will have Lenten groups starting up! As usual, we’ll be meeting in the parish center library at 7:30 pm.

   The dates/chapters are as follows:

    January 9th (Chapter 1)

    January 23rd (Chapter 2)

    February 6th (Chapter 3)

    February 20th (Chapter 4)
