St. Thomas More, along with other Jesuit parishes and schools nationwide, has been invited to participate in the inaugural AMDG program through the Institute for Ignatian Spirituality at Boston College. This year, a cohort of 10 young adults from our parish will embark on a two-year journey exploring the teachings of St. Ignatius through prayer and service in our community. Program commitments include a trip to Boston College (July 13-18, 2025) to kick off the program, an Ignatian retreat at a Jesuit retreat house (Winter 2025/26), a pilgrimage on the Camino de Ignaciano (Spring/Summer 2026), and ongoing service and formation experiences. Ava Krize is excited to serve as the STM ambassador for the AMDG program over the next few years. In this role, she will support and guide our cohort while helping to connect them with the broader community. Outside of her ambassador duties, Ava teaches fourth grade at our school and enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. She is looking forward to the journey ahead and what the future holds for this meaningful program!
