Ignatian Advent Retreat

This Advent, we invite you to prepare for the coming of Jesus by participating in our virtual Ignatian Advent Retreat in Daily Life! We will provide you with daily readings, reflection questions, and teachings from Ignatian spirituality to help you enter fully into the Advent season.

In addition to daily personal prayer, you will attend weekly small group meetings (led by a spiritual director) to share your prayer experience and ask questions. If you choose an in-person meeting option, your retreat facilitator will provide you with a prayer booklet at your first meeting. If you choose a virtual meeting option, we will email you a PDF of the prayer booklet before your first meeting. We will have extra physical copies at the parish office if you would like to pick one up.

We hope you will enjoy setting aside time each day to slow down and anticipate the hope, love, and true joy of Christmas! Please sign up below to participate!

What is an Ignatian retreat?

Our Ignatian retreats are based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Traditionally, the Spiritual Exercises are experienced by going away to a retreat center for silent prayer and meditation. Our retreats "in daily life" are designed to help participants experience Ignatian Spirituality while spending about 30 minutes in silence each day.
