STM Free Store Update

SEPTEMBER 10, 2020

 


While our Free Store has been closed since mid-March, we have continued to deliver items to Listening House and Goodwill bi-monthly and have served a few clients by appointment. 

We are working to develop a strategy to continue our mission of providing free gently-used and new clothing and household goods to struggling people in our communities, while keeping our volunteers and guests safe. As we work to extend our outreach, we ask for your help:


  • If you or someone you know is in need of free clothing and/or household items, please email stmfreestore@morecommunity.org. We can set up shopping appointments on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month during the hours of 1-3 pm.
  • If you have connections with or know of an agency able to distribute our goods to their clients, please contact us. We will reach out to the agency to make arrangements for them to receive the items they need.
  • Donations most needed by the Free Store at this time are men’s casual clothing especially in XL+ sizes, new socks, and new underwear.
