Wednesdays, May 1, 8, 15, & 22, 7-9 pm, St. Thomas More School AuditoriumWithout the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, there would be no Christianity. Belief in the resurrection is the cornerstone of Christian faith and the heart of the New Testament. It is a bedrock teaching. This four week program will explore the various resurrection stories found in the Gospels. Participants will learn about their literary forms, similarities and differences as well as the reactions of the disciples to Jesus' resurrection. In addition, each evening's presentation will reflect on the importance of belief in the resurrection for the practice of one's faith. Registration is requested to ensure we have enough materials for everyone. Please go here to read more about the series, the presenter (Arthur Zannoni), and to register.
