Administration
St. Thomas More is administered by Brian Ragatz, Principal. Mr. Ragatz works closely with parents, faculty and staff while being highly accessible and visible to all. With a strong belief that all students can have success in school, Mr. Ragatz connects with students of all ages, as well as their parents. His office is located on the main hall of the first floor of the school, and his open door policy enables him to be accessible throughout the day.
Mr. Ragatz’s philosophy of education is teaching the whole child. St. Thomas More is committed to academic excellence, but it is only one part of a total education. St. Thomas More has a balance of academic excellence, faith formation, character development, and service. Mr. Ragatz and his staff work in collaboration with parents to ensure that students graduate with the solid foundation not just in one area, but in all areas.
He has ten years of educational experience. Mr. Ragatz is an adjunct instructor at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in their graduate level Educational Leadership program, served as middle school History and Religion teacher, then as principal for four years at Catholic school within the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis prior to becoming principal of St. Thomas More.
