Each fall students in grades 4-8 receive an invitation and orientation to participate in the St. Thomas More band program.  Students may select from brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.  By taking semi-private lessons and participating in the beginning, intermediate, or advanced band, students develop solid musicanship and self-confidence as they learn how to play as a soloist as well as part of an ensemble.

The St. Thomas More band program is an optional school program administered through the Hill-Murray Parish Schools Band Program.  All tution and fees associated with lessons, instrument rental, and participation in band are handled directly through Hill-Murray.
