Baptism is a sacrament of initiation into the Catholic community. As part of Baptism preparation, parents of infants participate in a class to reflect on their own faith journey and the meaning of Baptism for them and their child. Classes are offered the every other month, and the Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the first weekend of the month at the 10:30 am Sunday Mass as well as the third Sunday of the month after the 8:00 am Sunday Mass.

Choosing Godparents is an important decision that will impact your child's Christian life. Godparents are role models and representatives of the Catholic community. Some of the characteristics of Godparents are a willingness to share faith, to be committed to prayer, and to actively support you as parents. At least one Godparent must be a Baptized, Confirmed, practicing Catholic.
