Formation for Adults

We do not stop growing in our faith when we graduate from high school. St. Thomas More seeks to support adults in their continued faith journey through classes, guest speakers, as well as myriad opportunities for service, worship and community building.

STM Young Adults

1yaThe STM Young Adults Group hosts a monthly Prayer & Reflection Night for young adults on the first Mondays of the month at 7 pm in the Pastoral Center. Come join with your fellow young adults for an hour to pray, reflect and focus for the coming week.

Welcome to An Ignatian Prayer Adventure

ignatian-prayer-adventure2IgnatianSpirituality.com, a service of Loyola Press, offers an adapted version of the Spiritual Exercises. Materials are modified from the longer retreat in The Ignatian Adventure by Kevin O’Brien, SJ. The eight-week schedule makes it perfectly timed as a Lent and Easter retreat, but the adventure can be started at any time, on your schedule. Join in a flexible experience of daily prayer and reflection. Choose to commit to a regular period of prayer each day, or start with only one day a week. Use as much or as little of the material as helps you in your Ignatian adventure.

Want to Learn More about Catholicism?

holy-spiritEver wonder why Catholics believe what they do? Why do Catholics have so many rituals? Why do they pray to Mary and the saints? Are Catholics saved? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a wonderful process of study, exploration, faith sharing and faith formation. This process is for adults seeking baptism or who have been baptized in another faith and desire to know and understand the Catholic faith. The process is open to anyone inquiring about the Roman Catholic faith or is discerning whether to become Catholic. Schedule an informational meeting with Adam Fitzpatrick: apatrick@morecommunity.org 651-227-7669 x 311. View or download a brochure.
